Hi Carl, (great name btw) I was looking at doing the same thing for probably the same reasons. It all ended up being too difficult and finally I have ended up with what is probably a better solution. That is simply connectin a small laptop with a midi cable to the disklavier. That way you can play files directly from the internet etc... I would need a great deal of data to determine if this would work in my DKC5R and am having great difficulty finding details about the product.
