I’ve recently purchased an eprom programmer with the intent to burn new chips for my Chroma Polaris. Is a Hitachi HN27C64G-15 one that works? If not please advise which to get. Mine has the common version 5 chips in it now, but since it’s opened up for troubleshooting (due to it locking up) I thought about burning a version 9 set instead that I was sure didn’t have bitrot. Thanks for any advice, I’m trying to become better skilled at taking care of my vintage synths.
