If the batteries died, it might need a full recalibration or something...I'm no expert on the CP, but I've read that all the settings can be lost if the batteries die, and that recalibrating isnt really fun. In any case, ifyou can get your money back, it might be worth it, but if your a true synth lover, do know that the CP is well worth it if you can find a replacement or a way to fix it.
