touch pads with old programmer problem

touch pads with old programmer problem

trying to use the touch pads with the old programmer, the programmer wont step via a clock though i tested programmer without the touch pads & confirmed as working.

Any idea why ? Am connecting the gate outputs of the pads to the PB connection on programmer.

Not sure why that would happen. The old programmer is essentially the same circuit as the later ones I did.
Try adding a capacitor between the output of the the touch pad and the input of the programmer, along with a pull down resistor at the programmer side.
