CGS 202: adding inputs

CGS 202: adding inputs

2017-02-28 by re.toxx

hello everybody,

i'd like to know the right way of adding inputs to my res eq.

somehow everything i do changes the behavior of it. right now

i have two inputs, each with its own buffer. it seems fine, but when i

change the resistor before it enters the eq, which is point M in the schematic,

it affects how the bands resonate. if i take a low one, say 10k they don't resonate at all.

if i take 100k they resonate but different compared to if i leave the inputs unconnected.

i also connected the output through a pot to M, to have feedback.

in the 10k example above, i only get self resonating of bands by putting the feedback

fully cw.

maybe you can share your experiences with that input thing on this module or explain to

me whats exactly going on there...
