CGS30 Bandpass Filter Question

CGS30 Bandpass Filter Question

2015-03-15 by jeremysfx

This is probably the better place to ask this question.
I emailed Ken directly so sorry about that. Won't happen again. I will post my questions here from now on.
I'm putting these together in a cascade setup identical to the image on the CGS site with the 5 bandpass filters connected to a DC mixer, however I have boards from 2 different revisions. 2 from 1.3 and 3 from 1.4. Will this be an issue? And, to my main questions.
There is no link/ jumper on these 1.4 revisions. Do I still need to manually link anything.
Where do I connect the V+ going to the DC mixer? On the 1.3 board it connects to the jumper location, which is no longer there.

Thanks
Jeremy

The 1.4 version is merely a double sided version of the 1.3. Because it is double sided, the links are not needed.
There are pads marked +VE, 0V and -VE for connection between each other, and connection to the mixer.

for what its worth, i built several configurations of this, settled on 3 parallel with both individual outs and a mixer out with individual level controls for each band... i use it alot. for me, the bands were not narrow enough to justify 5 parallel bands.

Thanks for all your answers.
I'm putting in 5 because I'm building a Vintage Voltron panel and it is already laid out for 5.
Thanks though
Jeremy
