CGS Utility LFO questions

2013-01-04 by blashol

Hi,

i'm building the CGS58 ver1.1
i see on the pcb 100n (2 close to the 10uf capacitor) and one close to the TL072) in my modular chamber kit i got 3 1k100uF ..i'm not good at electronic but that really doesn't seem to match.but maybe i don't read the PCB right. are these 100nF capacitors i have to put on the board ? are these u1K100 in my kit a mistake ?

thx for help :)

You can check the parts FAQ http://www.cgs.synth.net/modules/parts_faq.html

What you've written is a little confusing, but I think you have the right parts.
u1 sounds to me like 0.1uf, or 100n. K is the tolerance. 100 is the voltage. In u1, the u is replacing the decimal point. u stands for micro farads, so u1 means 0u1, or 0.1uF. For the moment you can ignore the tolerance, and 100V is quite adequate, and can also be ignored.
