A bead is a ferrite bead on a piece of wire. If you can find one, just use a
wire link. (yes, a piece of wire from an old resistor leg for example).

OK, I know what the bead is now, I've seen them and never knew what they were. Well, I guess I'll go ahead and take my best guess on these mods. Is it possible that track problem was fixed already on the PC board? There really is nothing connecting pin5 to any capacitor. also, I'm guessing the resistor replacement near the SYNC pad issue was taken care of too because there is no 330K resistor in sight? The only thing left is that jumper at pin5 of the TL072 I guess is supposed to go to two places; the pad at WS Trim and to the 100K resistor going to the AC SAW Out.wish me luck!steve
