Another question aboput the tube vca

Another question aboput the tube vca

2007-04-05 by kidkrazy58

It says that the ef86's suppressor grid is not internally connected to
its cathode. So im trying to find other pentodes like that. is maybe a
6hz6 or a 12gnz like that. i wanna see what it sounds like with a
second modulation source. Can some one maybe explain the extra effect
that would have on it?

I wouldn't expect any real difference to mixing two sources and feeding it
into the usual modulation input.

6AU6 btw.

Well i guess i just assumed it wasnt just two modulation sources
mixed togethor. i just figured it might caused some weird effect in
the modulation of it you couldnt get by just feeding in two mixed
sources.
