Bi-N-Tic parts query

Bi-N-Tic parts query

2005-05-07 by Adam Schabtach

Two questions:

1) Does anyone have manufacturer model numbers for the trim pots for the
Bi-N-Tic? I'm about to order parts, I want to make sure that I get something
with the right form factor, and I don't have anything handy to compare. I'd
be extra thankful if anyone can suggest units obtainable from Digi-key or
Mouser.

2) If someone will tell me exactly what kind of tempco I need from Precision
Resistors, I'll buy whatever the minimum is, keep two for myself, and sell
the rest (at zero profit) to anyone else who needs one or two of these. If
you're interested in this, drop me a note off-list. If I get lots of
responses I'll consider ordering more than the minimum. Yes, I know that the
minimum isn't *that* big, but I need only one and maybe there are other
people in the same boat.

Thanks for the assistance--

For the 10K (span) you need a multi-turn. I used Mouser part number
72-T93YA-10K

For the 100K (zero) you can use single turn (Mouser 594-63S104) or
multi-turn (Mouser 72-T93YA-100K).

PT-146, value 1K, 3500ppm

Mr. Laurie Bidulph (http://www.elby-designs.com/) sells them for $6
Aus.

Hope this helps,
Jeff
