Hi all,
i recently built a CGS735 Steiner Filter from Elby. The lowpass filter
seems to cut quite a bit of bass apart from the high frequencies which
it has to filter. I'd love to modify it a bit, in order to have more
bass passing through. Would it make sense to play with the value of
C201 (1uF), the cap which is sitting right at the lowpass input? My
limited
understanding is that this cap works as a highpass and could be
responsible for cutting some of the bass out. Any suggestions for
possible values for C201, or should i try something different?
Apart from this, i really enjoy this filter, love the 'wet' sound when
turning the reso up slightly!
