Hi
I may be confused, but I think it is only one tube, it is only
drawn as if there were two separate triodes. This is typical convention
with valve(tube) schematics.Jeri

Subject: [cgs_synth] Question about the neon lamp VCO
I was wondering about the neon lamp vco on www.uni-born.de the synth r
us site. In the schematic youll notice it has two 12ax7 tubes. BUt i
know that the 12ax7 is a twin tube so is there any reason that it has
to have two seperate tubes?
Im not sure if ken has this vco on his site. if i had a thryton id
make that one but i dont.
Oh and any one looking for alotta great tube schematics you should
totaly check out the tubesynthdiy group its filled with good
information.
Thanks
