Question about the drum simulator

2006-11-05 by kidkrazy58

Hi im new to this group and i joined it cause i really like these
modules. My question is that i have completley prototyped the drum
simulator on my bread board and now im trouble-shooting it. After
counting all my components ive noticed that two caps the 100n's are
totally left out of the schematic unless im continully over looking
them. Also i bought a +/- 15 volt power suplly. I havent used many
bipolar power supplies before though. There are four little
connections on it that are unmarked but as far as i can tell i only
need three i think. the positive the negitive and the ground. Is 0v
the same as ground? I cant tell the difrence between the two with my
voltometer. Right now all my drum sim does is when i plug it in it
makes a popping sound like 2 times a second that i cant change with
the pots to anything. And the top light blinks and thats it.
im still trying to troubleshoot it.Im gonna trigger the drums with my
tr606 since it has two trigger outs on it. If anyone could let me
know about any of these problems i would really apreciate it. And by
the way im kinda new in diy electronics Thanx.
