BCF2000 & Roland Fantom-X Mixer screen control

BCF2000 & Roland Fantom-X Mixer screen control

2008-08-20 by Andy

Hi all,

I'm really struggling to get the BCF2000 set up to control the Mixer
screen of my Roland Fantom X.

Initially, I just want the 8 sliders to control the volumes of the
first 8 Patches in a Performance, like a normal mixing desk, with the
two rows of buttons above doing Mute & Solo for each voice.

Depending on the stand-alone mode I put the BCF in, I either get an
inescapable MIDI feedback loop, or nothing until I try to teach the
sliders via LEARN mode, where I just get a "bAd" message whatever I do.

At the moment, I've got the IN and OUT of the BCF connected to the OUT
and IN of the Fantom-X, respectively.

I've tried the BCR Mixer file in the Files of this group, but with no joy.

Are there any settings I'm missing on the Fantom-X?

Can anyone shed any light on this, please?

Thanks & regards
Andy

Hi Andy,
I have posted a reply on the Fantom group.

If it doesn't help let me know and I try to think of something else
