Are there gaps between bytes or blocks or are you going flat out (31.25K bits per second / 10, that is 3125 bytes per second) ? I found the USB to be very slow, but I'm not sure if it is hardware or the driver. Surly it is interrupt driven so I guess it is more likely to be the driver. Do the Mac folk out there have trouble?????? Royce
