Tell us exactly what you are trying to do. The BCR2k can be programmed to output virtually all Midi messages. Make sure you have the latest manual from the Behringer website as there were a lot of old ones in new BCRs. If you have a look at the pictures starting on page 8 you can see how the BC can be connected in various ways including merging Midi data from the BC with incoming Midi data from a keyboard and sending it to a PC. All of the switches and encoders can be programmed to send out whatever Midi messages you want (with a limit on size of the messages) All the best Royce --- In bc2000@yahoogroups.com, "Jet Graphics" <jetgraphics@...> wrote: > > I am at an impasse. > The BCR2000's rotary controllers appear as undefined CC changes on channel 5, but no note messages appear. > (PGMusic Power Tracks and Band in a Box) > I've tried several MIDI input devices (old Roland D-10, GR30, and a "musicstar" midi controller. > Is it user error, hardware or software malevolence? > > --- In bc2000@yahoogroups.com, "tom649731" <tom.cuyt@> wrote: > > > > Yes, it can act as a usb midi interface, with 1 IN, 1 OUT, and 1 THRU - in U3 mode. > > > > --- In bc2000@yahoogroups.com, "Jet Graphics" <jetgraphics@> wrote: > > > > > > Can the BCR2000 pass note messages from an external MIDI device to a PC, via USB, running suitable software, and record the MIDI stream on a track? > > > I cannot determine that by reading the manual. > > > > > > Thank you, > > > JG > > > > > >
