Hi Folks, a couple of years ago I got a K3m, Kawai's rackmount of the analogue/digital hybrid K3 keyboard synth. It's a great box with wonderful filters so I naturally wanted to use my BCR2000 to control and edit it. I have had it working up to a point, just using the 'Learn' function on the BCR, but it was very flaky and now I've wiped that preset and it doesn't seem to want to learn the same things again. I had some great encouragement from Royce (on this list) to use his sysex editing software and I think that is probably the way forward. Unfortunately I'm a Mac user and all the editing apps seem to be for Windows. Is there some kind hearted soul out there who is curious enough to wonder if it's possible to get this synth under the reigns of the trusty BCR2000? I hope so because I've abandoned all my softsynths in favour of hardware and the K3m is now my only reason for hanging on to the BCR. (The Yamaha TX7 that I used to use it for has long since bitten the dust). If anyone is brave/foolhardy/generous enough to have a crack at this the manual for the K3m, complete with sysex info, is freely downloadable from the Kawai US site at this link - http://www.kawaius-tsd.com/pages/synth_om.html Here's hoping, all the best, Alan
