Hey, It is early - and I am slammed with home projects today - I will have to read you email in more detail to try to understand what you are doing. Go to my GenMce page http://shoshin.110mb.com/genmce and I have a link to the mackie command set at http://shoshin.110mb.com/genmce/mackie_commands/Mackie_commands.htm Thanks for the praise! I did not do it alone. I'm interested in you revision, I seem to have an addiction to mackie emulation I just can't shake. I also have helped develop a little pc keyboard mackie emulation. http://shoshin.110mb.com/rockiplaunch Sorry to the group for all the links there to other, non bcr, stuff. So I need to read, what you are trying to do again... Ok... that was the second pass on my reading... I think you can do the things you seek. See the chart of the notes you need above, the rest of the stuff is there too. 1 comment - the vpots (pans/sends/plugins) returns.... They will stay pans as long has you don'g hit the sends returns or plugins button. However, if you do, then they are not pans any more. If you know that you are not going to use sends or plugins control... You could always have each encoder send the note for pans before the controller info... a stacked command so to speak, meaning when you turn the knob it sends the not on... hmmm... that might get annoying or cause some other thing to happen. That is what happens on the clip fires. Use bcmanager to look at the preset... make a new preset and copy and paste the notes to the bank of buttons, should be really easy to move whatever you want about. I am not even half way there, but somehow it is fun trying. The templates from kip were very helpful so far, really great piece of work. But i would like to get a different assignment to the knobs, so its more suitable to my workflow. I have trouble finding the right midi notes for the solo switches. Which notes do i need to assign to the buttons, so they control the "Solo" switches of the channels? I read that mackie uses Note 8-15 for the solo´s but no effect there. Any suggestions? > Then, is there a possibility to assign the push-encoder row to permanently control the channel´s pan AND mute, and then assign them in one of the other Encoder Groups to Clip Arm´s at the same time? Or wait, first, how to assign their encoder funktion to Pan? I managend to match their push-funktion to mute, but i can´t find the pans for their encoder funktion at the same time. > Plus i would like to assign the 1st and 2nd encoder rows to send A and send B (just like abletons map for BCR) but in a way, the bank<> buttons have an effect on these.
