First of all: thank you for your enthousiasm, Kip! I never dreamed BC
Manager could become a movie star!

I've given this whole matter some further thought: I do appreciate
your point that the terseness and lack of graphics in the "official"
manual may cause problems for starting users. However, as I have
explained previously, for practical reasons I don't want the
"official" manual to increase in size because of added graphics, at
least not at this point in time. Secondly, since I'm continually
updating the manual, it would be very confusing to users if a kind of
"extended" version of the "official" manual started floating around on
the various websites. Moreover, we would get in an almighty editorial
tangle; and frankly, speaking for myself, I simply don't have the time
or energy for that right now. I'm having a hard enough time keeping
the manual up-to-date with all the latest program changes right now.
But if you (or anyone else) want to write a Getting Started manual/
screen movie, you have my blessing, and I might even give feedback etc.

Best wishes,
Mark.
