Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

There is a selection between

Absolute
Relative 1
Relative 2
Relative 3
Absolute 1 (14 Bit)
Relative 1 (14 Bit)
Relative 2 (14 Bit)
Relative 3 (14 Bit)

What do these mean/do? i've tried each of them with the cell volume 
of Battery 2, and besides Absolute, all of the others either moves 
the fader erratically (and not in a linear fashion) or doesnt move 
it at all. 

Also, when i move the knobs, the values on whatever i tie them to 
increase/decrease in jumps. What i mean is, if i tie a knob to the 
same volume fader as above, it might be 0db, then moving the knob 
very slightly might jump the volume to 0.3db, is there anyway to set 
it up so it moves the value in proper increments???
