Another SCSI Issue... S1100 terminator fuse?

I'm trying to replace a non-working floppy with a ZIP100s internal. Have tried every permutation for termination, new cables, different SCSI devices (Apple CDRom, HDD's) etc. It freezes on the "Waiting for hard disk" message and I can't skip it. It boots fine without a SCSI device connected. I've read about a similar issue with another model that is remedied by a fresh terminator fuse. There doesn't seem to be one on the S1100 SCSI card, or am I missing something? Or is there anything else I should know? Could it be that the SCSI card is cooked? I'm about to throw this thing through the front window of the Cash Converter's where I bought it, so if anyone has any ideas, cash converters thanks you for sparing their large front window.
