Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Yeah, 

The other day, i replaced the backlight on my S1100 with one i bought
off eBay, and now it won't turn on at all. What have i done? It's not
that i can't see the screen, none of the LED's come on, so, it's dead.


Any ideas?


Tonight i'm going to try replacing the old light, to see if it's what
is wrong with it, otherwise, i guess i've fried some other part of it.
