Hey guys I noticed that every S1000 SCSI card has the standard celentrics port on the back of the card but if you look inside at the card there is a empty 50 pin area for a 50 header.
Has anyone tried to solder a 50 header on these cards for an internal HD? Im not sure that this 50 section is active on these cards but Im willing to try it.

Better *technically* is not the same as better *sonically* - witness the
vinyl versus CD debate that has gone on for two-and-a-half decades now.

The most accurate, cleanest-sounding sampled strings I've ever heard on
their own were off an S6000, but they sounded terrible in a mix. In
that particular case, we took them off and used the gritty-but-gorgeous
strings off an Ensoniq Mirage...
