Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

No go this way !
Max. memory of  AKAI S - series is 32MB.
But there are sample CDs for the Akai S-series "The Legendary Mellotron " 
... from Masterbits/Mello Zone, - M400 and Mk V Mellotrons.
Do a search, - these are @ebay for EUR 25.-

- Is there enough memory expansion capability for S1000s & S2000s to
have 36 samples of 5 to 8 seconds long? Each sample would be for each
key on the keyboard. This would be my virtual Mellotron.
