First of all you need to find out whether the akai or the cdrom is the
problem. easy to find out if you have another scsi cdrom. it happens
that cdrom players get difficulties to read because wormwheel or
magnetics to adjust the lens dont work properly anymore (because of
dust,...)
This is a S1000/S1100 only list - so we never came across this kind of
problems. You can also try other akai fora.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
