I used to sequence my S1100 and S2800 running Renoise on a linux machine.
Renoise is a great alternative to "big" DAWs and a very powerful tool
for both sampling and sequencing external gear.
I believe that for the price is a no-brainer ,especially for Linux users
that don't have that much options compared to Windows and Mac users.
