Zer0sc 1v/oct tracking

Zer0sc 1v/oct tracking

I've read that they aren't able to track well against other "standard"
oscillators. Is this the experience of any owners?

mine is a good way out and i've been meaning to recalibrate it. for
the moment i sync it to my motm-300 for patches where it needs to
track.

I recalibrated all my VCO's 1V/oct tracking when I got my MOTM-650 MIDI
converter recently. I have consistently found that my ZO does not track
quite as well as my MOTM and CGS VCO's. My ZO is good for four to five
octaves before the heterodyne beats get too noticeable, and that is good
enough for me. Of course this is just one ZO. I can't speak for the rest.

Well, that's not too bad. I guess it's mainly made to be synced to other
oscillators, is that the right impression?

Anyone got any "musically useful" DX-type FM Zer0sc patches/sound demos
to share?

BTW, I loved your implementation and panel design of the CGS VCO. I've
got 5 Schaeffer panels here waiting for some assembly action.
