The 600 volt wire is not only safer electrically (so that even a dead short will not result in a fire), but also that wire is very flexible (think Mogami) and can snake around through the SixPacs much more easily. I was horrified and totally miffed that finding some decent 14 gauge wire could prove so difficult until now.
