They really are beautifully built.

Actually we do have many ARP 2500 modules here, as we are making
special 19 inch rack mount frames for them with only mini-phone jacks at
each position - instead of all of those nasty Cherry click switches!

Don't think I wasn't tempted to design a ZO layout in 2500 format...
