Is there anyone out there (other than the venerable Dan Slater)with
any experience in using one of these ?
I managed to pick up the fullblown gp 6 from a buddy in SF & am
interested in its capabilities for generating & processing chaotic
signals . It appears to have at least a dozen usefull functions & a
good addition to a Serge system , being that it's 1 panel in size ,
uses Banana jacks & includes a digital voltmeter .
Dan Slater who makes the Marimba Luminas for D.B. has a fascinating
article probably relevant to those on this site where he uses a
Buchla #& Comdyna to produce interesting chaotic fm effects & also a
fascinating patch for a filter whos output is dependant on input
level , waveshape etc. more than normal & produces frequencies not
found in the original input.
P.K.

there's are some emails relating to this a few months
back. I asked Dan some specific questions suggested
by the group and then posted the answers. Can't
remember which month it was though.

regards,
Richard
