can anyone ID this module?

can anyone ID this module?

2001-03-09 by matt wilson

i created this mock up to guide the cabinetmaker who's building the
cabinet for
my system, from a pic from synthmuseum (i think) and the keyboard is
from synthesizers.com
(which i've just taken delivery of; very very nice work from roger
arrick, with a full review
to come).

i'm wondering what the hell is the big module right in the middle of the
2nd panel from the top
on the right side of the synth, to the left of the wilson analog delay
(no relation...)?

What are you talking about? Were you going to attach a picture?

The picture is in the files section.

The module is a Gentle Electric Pitch and Envelope Follower. Serge
sold that circa 1982, I have it in their 1982 catalog.

thanks john. why not send that catalog over to john papiewski for the egres pages?
and have you had a chance to compare the 82 era products with the current catalog,
also on the egres pages? it would be neat to get an idea of the modules developed
(and discontinued) since then.

i had assumed the GE pitch/env follower was an old design, and that rex had developed
the wilson analog delay (altho thats just a guess), so its interesting to see the two
side by side. anyone know the history of the system in that pic? i think the pic came from
kevin lightner.

Both the PEF and the WAD were in the 82 catalog. The WAD has been
around for a while. The PEF is the only recent drop out from the
catalog from the 80's.
