Future Serge Owner

Future Serge Owner

2008-10-02 by roelelec

Hi all,

I'm new to this group and from the Netherlands.
At the moment I'm in the process of rounding off my first order at STS.
This will be an M-Boat containing M-odules: Creature and Triple
Oscillator.
I'm planning a 3 panel system for the future, but only if I can control
myself!
These are exciting times.

Cheers,

Roel

Hi Ross,

Glad to be here.
I want to use it for soundscapes, all sort of effects and strange
rhythms.

Thanks for the link.
I've seen several of your vids a couple of weeks ago.
You have quite a hotpotch of Doepfer/Livewire/Wiard (euroformat)
modules there. Very special ones like the Vulcan modulator!
And your Serge is 2 panels + TKB.

Isn't it a nice site, all those flickering lights!
And I don't even talk about the noise they make lol

Welcome Roel,

I would highly recommend the TKB as your next panel. Sequencing on it with other Serge modulars is just fantastic. I had the joy of hooking up a TB-303 Devil Fish to it this week and it was feeding CV back into the cutoff and resonance in time.
Awesome stuff.

Cheers,

Hi Kyle,

Thanks for your warm welcome.

I'm afraid the TKB is financially out of my leaque!
I just got the bill from Rex and I was shocked by the total amount.
This means I have to sell things to finance future panels.

But yeah, I know the TKB is a fabulous sequencer, I'm afraid I just
have to settle for a less spectacular Serge sequencer!

Cheers,

Roel

Hmmm.. I was wondering about that.. All ive known is the TKB and I love it but ive always wondered about the SEQ shop panel..

I’m thinking about ordering the SEQ-A and SQP m-odules and have a question; is the SEQ8 just a mini-TKB (I imagine the 8 vertical buttons on the left are used to trig the steps) or can it do stuff the TKB can’t?

    Tks
    Y.
