Don't ask me why.....I've always wanted a quad panel. Maybe I'm hoping that
5:1 surround (probably on DVD) will become a standard music format over the
next five years.
California manufacturers' Quad configuration.. After all we all know where
Tcherepnin 'borrowed' his ideas from.... ;)
On paper, the Serge Quad panel that STS puts together is *defiantly* one of
the most interesting! I have yet to see (hear?) one. . . (but i think that
is going to change because of the current 'trends' ).
As you may know from the fenix list...im currently using a UK made 'Pink
Floyd' QP4 w/ joystick..im very happy with it......but the Serge stuff
looks much more interesting. . .
I'm also very interested in 'user reports' from people who live 4.0 QUAD
with Serge stuff.

If you get a chance...find someone with a 'surround DVD system' and pick up
the new DVD Subotnick QUAD! re-masters of 'Touch' and '....Clouds' :

For some very good opinions on 'classic' live Quad configurations see:

Take a look but *please* don't post any variations of thee '3rd Brandenburg
concerto in 7.1' to the Serge users group ;)
