Hi List,

let me introduce me: I'm living in Switzerland and own a 3 panel Serge with
the following configuration:

panel 1 (bought new in 95):
NTO, PCO, VCM,AMX, RS, DTG, VCFQ,UAP (this is more or less the now so called
'Animal panel')
the DTG has additional signal inputs and the RS has an additional signal
input for the smooth/stepped part (patching the trigger output of the RS to
this input results in a nice VCLFO).
The case is the old style STS/Serge.
panel 2 (bought in 1999 from the owner of the fist of god, John Duval who
had bougth from Dave Fulton):
Triple Comparator, SSG (3" wide), PCO, VCFQ, SQP4,DTG (with additional
signal ins)
This is an old panel that John Duval had STS rebuilt. So I don't know how
old this panel really is.
panel 3 (bought in 1999 from the owner of the fist of god, John Duval )
this is an old style shop sequencer panel with
SEQ8, 2ASR, ACP, DTG, Boolean logic, SQP4

All in all I am quite happy with my Serge, although I'm missing some mixers
(both, cv and audio) but I have to admit: I don't know whether I would buy
me any new panels as they are very expensive and contrary to the often
claimed opinion, I don't think that building quality is much better than
with eg the Fenix (which I also own). But still: it is my favourite
synthesizer.
