Cloned circuits, was Modcan
2001-06-09 by Microtonal
I looked back at the Serge catalog and realized I had missed the staircase
output, which wasn't in my circuit. With this in mind I'd guess the Serge
implementation is a pulse generator/staircase generator based on the LM3900
Norton amplifier, not on the DSG.
With this is mind, just how much opposition is there to posting on the web
schematics of "cloned" circuits comparable to the Serge modules? These
would not be copies of Serge's designs, they would be original designs which
might or might not (due to ignorance of the originals) match Serge
Tcherepin's designs. This thread on Modcan seemed to raise a lot of hackles
and I'd hate to see a repeat of it.
