dual clock woes...

2007-03-12 by James R. Coplin

the dual clock module on my serge just went south. both modules are
dead. it seems to output nothing but if i flip the "on" switch, the
output voltage goes high and stays there. any thoughts and where to
begin trouble shooting this circuit?

it's a fried transiston. . can't remember which one.. it's one of a pair that is placed at each input. . ( i think ) mine went down in a similar fashion about three years ago after being hit with a 18volt spike from a Burst Generator. Not that yours is suffering from the same thing, but if anything is going to fail, it will be the trannys. So saeth the wisconson guru. LOL
but don't take my word for it. . i'm just a Serge-less hack. LOL
