New SMOG Moderator/CD producer Needed

Friends:
After 3 years and 224 members, I'm giving up as moderator of the
Serge Modular Owners Group on Yahoo. I am also relinquishing control
over the Serge Artists CD because I'm not able to get it done, and it
needs to be done.
Frankly, moderating SMOG is no big deal, but taking on the CD project
is going to take some time. Here is where it stands:
the project was initially intended to accomplish two directives:
first, I wanted to showcase new and recent artists using the Serge.
To that end, all but one of the tracks have been mastered and are
basically ready to go. Second, I wanted to package the new CD with a
re-issue of the original Serge Musician's Tapes tape, which Serge put
out back in the early 80s. My copy of the original tape is at the
mastering house, and I do not know if its done or not. So, at this
point, the project needs artwork and the enthusiasm to get it
published. Someone who has experience in this area ought to take up
the reins here (hello Johnp!). I do not know if the mastering house
is still interesting in doing this project for free, so I will put
the new major domo in touch with him at the appropriate juncture.
In case you're wondering why I'm letting these projects go on the
next person: first, aside from my day job, I am back in school
pursuing another graduate degree and I've just gotten married. My
time is compromised and I'm enjoying other things. I just don't have
the time and my interests lie elsewhere. I'm also using my system
less and have recently sold off 3 panels (and no, I'm not selling
anymore!). So my heart isn't there/here and I need to pass the baton.
I'd much prefer having someone I "know" take up these projects
("know" being a funny word on the Internet, right?!) so get in touch
if you are interested.
