Has anyone here tried using a Kory Prophecy as a controller for their
Serge?

what would make using a prophecy any differenct from using any other midi controller? i don't understand your question. in other words, how would a "yes" or a "no" answer make any difference?

confused,

Has anyone here tried using a Kory
Prophecy as a controller for their
Serge?

-------

Yes, I used to own a Prophecy and combined
with my Expressionist it made a fantastic
controller for the Serge. The combination of
the knobs and the mod wheel/bender/touch pad
allowed for some very creative modulations.

I would highly recommend the Prophecy if you
are looking for a great little controller,
with its own unique sound, and a look that
complements any Serge system

**No, I don't work for Korg ;)

Thanks Ernie. I should have said in my email has anyone tried the
korg prophecy as it's got the ribbon log.

Has anyone here tried the midi controller that has two hand prints,
plus a couple other? I remember seeing adds in Sound on Sound but
haven't seen it for sale anywhere.

FYI

if anyone wants to try a big modular heist, Rick Wakeman is moving
all his equipment off the Isle of Man soon (Moog 3C, Arp 2500, ARP
2600 x 2, Mellotrons, B-3's, C-3's, etc, etc).

cheers

I believe Midiman was due to come out with a controller called Surface
One, a combination of pads for all your fingers plus a keypad and a
couple sliders if I remember correctly. Entirely MIDI.

Don't know whatever happened to it. Asked a few time to the dealers
around me and no one knew about it.

Regards,

Bill
