Rex has created a new serge controller module

Rex has created a new serge controller module

2002-12-07 by andre B delise

:::GOOD NEWS ALERT:::

FELLOW SERGE OWNERS be advised

It's called the touch envelope voltage source or TEV.
At a glance it resembles a TKB, on the left half you have 8 EG's, on the right an 8 step sequencer, all touch sensitive and powerful.

Touch Envelope section (left half) includes:
8 output jacks
8 gate jacks
8 switches, {up} Atck/rel, {down} Manual

3 rows of 8 knobs
Row 1 sustain level
Row 2 rise time
Row 3 fall time

Voltage source section (right half):
Half a TKB

Great idea, great module, opens new possibilities
I'll be using one in my rack soon...
Available now
thanks Rex
Andre

I have pix, e-mail me direct if you want to see one
Keep on patching

Could you perhaps upload the pic(s) to the files section?
And could you post the price?

Thanks much!
Bill

This does sound very good. One question, I'm not sure of the function
of the switches on the Touch Envelope section. The (up) Atck/rel
position must somehow enable the envelopes, but what is meant by the
(down) Manual position? Might this be individual pressure per pad
coming from the TEV output jacks, or something else?

Where's Rex? Need to place an order!!

2002-12-08 by cuari7 <medejd@ttuhsc.edu>

--Hey guys!! Any one know another way of getting hold of Rex Probe?
I keep calling STS at 262-367-3030, but all I get is his answering
machine telling me that it's not able to take new messages..Arrgh!!
I need to buy something from him PRONTO. If any of you guys has a
way of contacting him, just tell him to go to his office and empty
out his answering machine or something, please!! Better yet, to
contact me at 915-241-7067. I need to place an order.
Thanks, guys.
