I'm looking at getting a Serge system and I want to use the
Analogue Systems French Connection controller. Is that in
anyway possible? I know that the gate signal for the Analogue
Systems is about 10 V and the gate for Serge is 5 V. But the CV
is both 1V/oct, I think. Is there a way to get that to work? Like a
module that attenuates or scales the gate voltage? or is it
needed? and is there any module that would help it go the other
way i.e. a sequence off the serge get played through an
Analogue Systems modular? Thanks for your help.

You don't need to attenuate the gate signal.

Don't worry about voltage issues. Everything will work fine. You do need
to be concerned about cabling, in that the Asys uses 1/8" and the Serge
uses bananas. I've remedied this precise situation by installing bananas
on my Asys and Doepfer modules and creating a star grounding system that
grounds to the Serge power supply:

The Asys keyboard looks pretty nice; I played the Sorceror at NAMM two
years ago and the woodwork is very fine. I also have their joystick as
seen in the pic, above, which is a good piece of gear (and three times
the expense of the comparable Doepfer item!).

I'm guessing your interest in the Asys device lies in its Ondes Martenot
feature, correct? If you are just looking for a CV keyboard, the
Synths.com unit is affordable and has decent MIDI capabilities, which
the Asys lacks:

Also, the Asys looks like its going to cost over $1500, and more
depending on your global location. I think the synths.com is around
$400. I owned one for a couple years and can recommend it.
