the link is http://www.ticalun.net/sergePlanner/configurator.aspx
let me know if you have any problems. i've tried the site with
explorer and communicator and it seems to work with both. it looks
and functions better under explorer because of explorers better
compliance with javascript, style sheets, etc. the app is written in
microsoft's .net technology so i suspect it will always be explorer
biased.
right now it only allows for singe panel configurations but multi-
panel is on the way once i'm sure that i have all the single panel
functionality people want.
i am missing alot of the graphics, if you have any of these and could
get them to me asap i'll get them on the site asap!
i'm not sure when i'll get around to writing a faq but i think it is
pretty self explanatory. in general, you select the location for the
module to go, the module you want and press update. the reset panel
button clears all the panel and the clear module button removes the
module and replaces it with as many blank spaces as the module was
wide. all modules are "left" oriented. in other words, if you add a 3
wide module to location 2, it will occupy 2,3,4. the panle renumbers
itself with what you have available and if you add/replace/delete a
module the spacing show expand and contract to the correct size. if
you select a location that currently has a module, if the new
selected module is the same width it will just replace the one there.
if it is narrower, it will replace the module and add empty spaces to
the end of the rack. if you try to add a wider module, if there are
available blanks to the right of the current module, it will take
those to accomidate the new module.
questions, comments, bugs etc. send to moog@... . enjoy!
