Wavemakers synthesizer web site

Wavemakers synthesizer web site

2002-04-04 by John Loffink

I have created a web site devoted to the rarely seen Wavemakers line.
The url is: http://www.microtonalsynthesis.com/wm/. There are many
documents, photos and audio files to savor. Wavemakers, also known as
"kb electronic music instrumentation," created modular synthesizers,
semi-modulars, rack effects and mixers from 1970 to 1980ish. Enjoy!

Fans of Buchla, Serge and Wiard style designs might want to check out
some of the unusual modules. These include the 308 Triple Bandpass
Filter with "lap generators" (scanner circuits) and the 847 Quad Control
System.

If anyone on the list has more information on Wavemakers then I'd love
hear from you.

Wow - thanks, John - this is a real treat. I remember lusting after the
Wavemaker 4 back in my college days.. I must have stared at the patch
diagram for weeks, all added up. But after all these years, this is the
first time I've actually heard one.
