Old Calarts era Serge

Old Calarts era Serge

2001-03-30 by dlh30039@yahoo.com

I have posted a few picts of my Serge after some embarrassing
struggles with my wife's new camera...
As I posted before, this was built by Carter Thomas, a student in
Serge's class at Calarts. It was gift really, Carter gave it to me as
a part of some private composition lessons in the early 80s. As you
can see, it use the paper laminate for panel graphics. The inner
construction looks fairly similar to photos I have seen of the more
recent machines. Save for a few modules that need help, the thing has
been rock solid over the years.

Thanks for the pix! Looks like a nice system and in good shape.
