Wow, is that ever a blast from the past! Serge encouraged me to take a class from Stan Levine (the interviewer), which only lasted one session because of lack of enrollment. I remember every issue of Synapse because I read it cover to cover many times... Stan told me that his 'Sample and Hold' column was canceled, though he never found out why.
