I own a Creature but not a Gator. I've come to realize, though, that
they really are ideal companions. Very often the elements that I find
myself needing the most are the ones in the Gator: especially NComp
and subdivider. It really depends on the type of patches you want to
create though. I think the Animal is probably a more rounded
single-voice panel. If you are going to build a huge M-odule based
system, Creature + Gator is definitely a great place to start.
