Re: New Serge Users CD, new self

I understand your point. I was just stating my philosophical leaning. If this is to be a Serge CD, it should be all Serge, all the time. But that's just me. If other instruments can enhance the experience and help the performance then hey, I'm all for it. This should be an inclusive endevour. Not a exclusiory endevour.

I'm against drum machines. If you can't do drums on a Serge . . . well,
uh, . . . what's the point.

Yeah multitracking sounds fine.
And i guess we should allow people to use other stuff for drummachines perhaps.

My vote is: yes, multitracking should be allowed.

I had two alternative concepts for the cover: "clean" and "dirty".
Clean would be a minimalistic design more like a schematic, inspired
by the panel design schematics. Dirty would be based on photos(s) of
a serge front panel, somewhat heavily processed in photoshop to give a
gritty "artistic" appearance. Which do you all prefer? Don't have
time to work on this now, but in October I can sketch a couple of drafts.

One other question about the submissions: is multitracking allowed?
