I've done a few dozen comps either on the production/artist side and they tend to be a
slow process as I'm sure the last serge was. Throw in the fact that this is a users group +
we don't really know each other add a step.
basically need someone to take the producer role, someone to cover mastering someone
to help cover the layout. Depending on the amount of sound we get-maybe 5-miniute
pieces we could do via CD that would be 16 pieces on an 80min cd.
If folks want to go the download route ala the elektron comp (hats off to them for a super
job) than that's a different issue we need to decide on. doepfer group has a voting thing
they use, have no clue on how it's done.
