FWIW, I had 4-5 GATEs each stacked on two VCFQ Trig Ins and it worked fine. He said the VCFQ Trig in is a different case, though, since it looks only for a rising edge and not a full GATE.

Is it safe to take multiple GATE outs from the TKB and combine them at a single input such as a Variable Q VCF's TRIG IN, if the GATEs are never firing simultaneously with one another?
I know it's akin to connecting the GATE of one TKB step to the GATE out of another, but...
