I guess so.. There shouldn’t be any danger in combining the GATE OUTs of each step (since you cannot, at least to my knowledge, have more than one step active at a time).. However, if you were to combine a step’s gate out with, say the KP out, then you might end up with 2 live outs ganged together...
Perhaps Mr. Tique or Mr. Puller might shed some light on the subject?

Is it safe to take multiple GATE outs from the TKB and combine them at a single input such as a Variable Q VCF's TRIG IN, if the GATEs are never firing simultaneously with one another?
I know it's akin to connecting the GATE of one TKB step to the GATE out of another, but...
