You'll find that much of what you can do on a Buchla is pretty easy on a Serge as well...there's more similarities than differences IMHO - at least compared to other modulars.

Its nice to be able to repeat pitches even in Experimental work.

Understood, but when you've got "magic" modules like the DSG that can be patched to do just about anything, other modules start to pale a bit. Most recently I've been using my DSG as an envelope follower and subharmonic generator...

Without having to worry about interfacing disparate systems its just easier to get on with the business of making sound ;)
